Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Bank Stress Testing Analyst to join our dynamic team. With at least 10 years of experience in bank stress testing, the ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial risk, regulatory requirements, and regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Oversee the collection, validation, and maintenance of high-quality data inputs necessary for stress testing reporting, including historical data, economic indicators, and internal risk metrics.
- Modeling and Analysis: Utilize advanced quantitative techniques and statistical methods to model the impact of stress scenarios on our limits monitoring reporting, providing insightful analysis and actionable recommendation to sr. management and risk committees.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements related to stress testing (e.g. CCAR, DFAST, Basel III), ensuring our stress testing practices remain aligned with industry best practices and regulatory expectations.
- Process Enhancement: Continuously assess and enhance our stress testing processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness, driving innovation and excellence in risk management practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with risk management product owners, finance, treasury, and technology product owners to ensure seamless integration of stress testing insights into strategic decision-making processes and risk management framework.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g. Master’s, PhD) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in banking or management consulting within the financial services space. Minimum 5 years stress testing, risk management, financial reporting, or a related field within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of banking, products, financial markets, regulatory requirements, and risk management principals, with specific expertise in stress testing methodologies and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and analysis findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including senior executives, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional projects or teams, driving innovation, and influencing decision-making processes.
